Hannah Ryggen and Carl Milles, hot off the press

After having worked for some time as an occasional proofreader for Guðrún Publishing's Art Souvenir series, I was pleased to accept a new role with the series as editorial assistant. The first two titles I've helped to produce are on the revolutionary Swedish-Norwegian textile artist Hannah Ryggen (published in conjuction with Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum, Trondheim, in honour of a triennial exhibition of Ryggen's art) and the prolific Swedish sculptor Carl Milles (published in conjunction with Millesgarden in Lindingo, Sweden). It was a pleasure to work with authors Solveig Lonmo and Maria Soreby and, through them, gain a deeper appreciation for the artists in question.
